Endoscopic Browlift

It will correct the position of your eyebrows and remove wrinkles from your forehead.

PROCEDURE

It is performed using a tiny fiber optic lens inserted through half inch incisions placed in the hairline. A lens (attached to a camera, which is connected to a
television, allowing for visualization of the surgery) is introduced through one of them and, alternatively using the other parts, special instruments allow us to perform the tissue changes that will raise your eyebrows and permanently fixate them superiorly, with a new special re-absorbable device, called an “Endotine”.

Recovery

There will be swelling and bruising that may last from seven to ten days. For some patients this may include the cheeks and eyelids. Keeping your head elevated and application of cold compresses will help to reduce the swelling. As your incisions heal, you will notice some itching and possibly some numbness. These symptoms will diminish over time. You may wear make-up after three days, and your sutures will be removed in seven to ten days. Strenuous activity is restricted for six weeks.

Endoscopic Midfacelift
Before/after Results

Not long ago a facelift was the only existent procedure to restore a youthful appearance to one’s face.

At the present time, the endoscopic brow and/or mid-face lift procedures can be used to lift sagging eyebrows, cheeks and lips. It has a perfect indication on patients seeking facial rejuvenation at an early stage

The most important aspect of this procedure is that it lifts the cheek tissue vertically. This reverses the effects of gravity, which pulls downward. A refreshed and youthful appearance is the result.

PROCEDURE

Endoscopic or minimal-incision surgery is performed using a tiny lens inserted through half-inch incisions placed inconspicuously. The lens is attached to a camera connected to a television, which allows the visualization of the surgery. Through those incisions, special instruments are used to manipulate the tissue and insert sutures or devices (new mid-face Endotine) that will allow the permanent suspension of your eyebrows and cheeks.

Benefits of endoscopic facial surgery
No visible incisions, minimal scarring, less bleeding, no hair loss, minimal numbness and a much quicker recovery, when compared to traditional surgical techniques.

Recovery

Your face will show swelling and may be bruised for a few days.

Since there is no visible scar, you will be able to go back to work as soon as you feel comfortable with the residual swelling.

Most likely, one week is enough.
